Sky, Monique & Ceceilia

Growing up in New York City and the rural lake region of Northeast Pennsylvania, Eusebius “Sky” Ballentine has a unique understanding of the local food movement. The two regions have been a source of inspiration in his mission to help serve his community with high quality food.

Sky’s love for nature and sheer determination to help change the way we access food in our community is what drew him to a life in agriculture. His steadfast approach to managing healthy soil is fundamental in his mission to stabilize the local food system.

Despite the long hours spent working the fields, Sky always makes time for the two most important people in his life, partner, Monique and their newborn baby girl, Ceceilia. Whether it’s a weekend visit to the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, or just taking a nice long walk through the woods near the property, Sky and his family love to be outdoors, soaking up the beautiful landscape that the Northeast provides.
